NCW members can now help shape UK priorities on gender equality by taking part in a new survey.
Gwenda Nicholas, President, represented NCW at a meeting recently with the Minister for Women and Equalities, Nicky Morgan, together with representatives of the other Six-O organisations.
Following on from this meeting Gwenda received an email encouraging NCW members to respond to the Government Equalities Office (GEO) survey, which gives members a chance to shape UK priorities on gender equality.
The Government Equalities Office said:
“As we approach the twentieth anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action – the Government wants to hear from women, men and civil society groups on what progress you think is being made by business and the government to improve the lives of women and girls in the UK. As well as delivering a regional roadshow of events – we will be collecting feedback through a short survey that is open to all.”
The article and survey (anonymous) are available on the GEO website.
