NCWGB is active across the country, with five regional committees that share ideas and work together on projects and seminars, producing reports for dissemination and publication. They are:
- East Midlands Region
- South West and Midland Region
- Southern Region
- Northern Region
NCWGB works internationally through the International Council of Women, which has almost 70 member countries worldwide. We were accorded UN Special Consultative status in 2000, and our members take part in annual meetings of the UN Commission on the Status of Women in New York.
The ICW focuses on working to remove all forms of discrimination against women and girls; action against violence, trafficking, and sexual exploitation; and action against acute poverty which deprives women and girls of basic health care and education. The need to involve women in peace-keeping and mediation is also a major objective.
