The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, welcomes the formation of an increasing number of Victims’ Support Schemes, recognizes the urgent need for such schemes to give help and advice to the victims of criminal acts and urges the Home Office to call upon its Voluntary Services Unit to encourage voluntary organizations to help in conjunction with the Police, in the establishment of such Victims’ Support Schemes in all parts of the country.
