The National Council of Women of Great Britain, in Conference assembled, requests Her Majesty’s Government, as a matter of urgency, to review the closure of Branch Railway lines and substitution of bus services which often prove to be inadequate, with a view to alleviating the social and economic hardship caused thereby.
