Our members are women just like you: from all ages and with many interests and concerns.

Become a member and join a network of people just like you. You can be as actively involved as you want to be. You can contribute by researching, writing, debating, voting and organising. Or you can pop the kettle on, read our latest newsletter, and feel confident that we are taking action on your behalf.

Become a member if you:

  • Worry about violence against women: in the streets, in the home, inflicted by strangers, and sometimes by those we love or trust. Do you want to play a part in ending that but don’t know what to do? Join the National Council of Women.
  • Are horrified by news reports of women being trafficked. Do you want to make an impact? Join the National Council of Women.
  • Believe that every girl has a right to be educated. Are you angry about the gender pay gap? Do you want to put an end to period poverty? Join the National Council of Women.
  • Care about the challenges faced by women at home and overseas. Possibly even on the road where you live? Does life sometimes get in the way so you don’t have time to take action? Join the National Council of Women.

“If you’re passionate about empowering women and making female voices present – then the National Council of Women can provide you with a platform to do this.”
