Individual Membership
Our members are women just like you: from all ages and with many interests and concerns.
Join the National Council of Women GB (NCWGB) and become a part of a growing network of women from all walks of life whose collective voice is improving the quality and equality of life for everyone.
NCWGB addresses the concerns women raise. We use members’ combined knowledge, expertise and passion to successfully influence Government policy and to act internationally. This interdisciplinary cooperation is really having an impact.
You can be as active as you wish or just valuably support us on the sidelines. Join NCWGB, either as an individual or as an associate through your organisation or business.
Making a difference
You get access to our multi disciplinary study groups, our events, regular mailings and reports. You can connect and share views with like-minded people and interact with Parliamentarians, our partner organisations nationally and internationally.
For example:
- be part of our international campaign to tackle climate change
- support our influencing of Government – getting a series of stronger online and AI protections
- help us work with Oxford University and the government’s Race Equality group to improve our health
Types of membership
Choose your Individual membership level:
Champion member: £100 pa
Members who are able to do so are warmly invited to become Champion members. This contribution helps us to keep membership rates accessible and supports NCW’s core work, ensuring that women’s voices continue to be represented and heard in policy and decision-making.
Supporter member: £50 pa
If you are able to, please consider becoming a Supporter Member. Your additional support helps NCW keep membership affordable for others, while strengthening our vital advocacy work on behalf of women and girls.
Standard member: £35 pa
The core, vital membership of NCWGB. this gives you access to all our resources, Newsletter, Current affairs update and activities
Branch members can:
- Participate in a varied programme of events including speaker events, outings, social events, discussion group meetings and seminars organised by the branch
- Participate in all NCWGB meetings, seminars, and discussion groups
- Attend NCW’s Annual Conference (face to face and live streaming) and make your voice heard on issues that concern you
- Receive information about meetings and reports
- Receive our regular newsletter and information about NCW associated organisations.
- Receive our regular parliamentary report about Government consultation papers and select committee work
- Receive regular ICW-CIF newsletters
- Contribute to resolutions passed at our Annual Conference before they are presented to Government.
Our current branch* is located in Darlington and District.
*There may be a small extra charge payable to the branch you join.
If you are aged between 18 and 30, you receive all the same benefits of membership for £15 a year. You will also receive a dedicated Network 18-30 newsletter.
Join as a subscriber of NCW (both women and men are welcome). As a subscriber you receive the following but would not have any voting rights at the Annual Conference.
