We work with many influential women’s groups in the UK and internationally
National Council of Women is a member of Six-O, a group made up of the top women’s organisations in the UK:
The group meets regularly to discuss plans, share achievements and information. The Six-O organisations work together for example to campaign for protection from online harms and climate change. They also join forces for International Women’s Day to highlight key issues and raise awareness.
Note:
The National Townswomen’s Guild (TG) which was a member of the Six O Group, closed permanently on January 30, 2026, due to lack of funding. However, many individual local guilds across the UK chose to reorganise independently and continue operating.
