The National Council of Women urges Her Majesty’s Government to review:
(a) the current arrangements for the provision of respite care to ensure that these arrangements are widely publicised, comprehensive, non-discriminatory, more evenly distributed, available at short notice, and with the assessment process simplified;
(b) the level of the carers allowance.
