Ban bull bars (in the interests of road safety), 1995

The National Council of Women in Conference assembled: (a) disturbed by the increasing number of serious and fatal accidents caused to pedestrians and other road users by vehicles fitted with ‘bull bars’ even when travelling at low speeds; (b) calls upon HM Government to ban the fitting of bull bars and any other accessory leading to problems of road safety.
