The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, mindful that Local Authorities are to be given a central role in the delivery of community care services, calls on Her Majesty’s Government to ring-fence all funding allocated to them for this purpose and ensure that it is sufficient for the increased work and responsibilities to be undertaken.
