The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, urges the Secretary of State for Social Security to acknowledge the great contribution made by members of the Armed Services from 1914 onwards, who gave their lives in defence of this country, by increasing all War widows’ pensions by £30 a week in yearly stages of £6 per week.
