The National Council of Women of Great Britain in Conference assembled urges Her Majesty’s Government to re-introduce prescription charges under the National Health Service, provision being made to ensure that additional hardship is not caused to the chronic sick, to persons receiving retirement pensions and/or supplementary benefit or supplementary allowance, and to all necessitous persons over 75 who at present receive no State Pension.
