Dr Husna Ahmad OBE, member of National Council of Women’s Management committee led a conference at LSE on Monday on Environment, Faith and Climate Change: Harnessing Faith Leadership for a Sustainable Future. Husna stressed the need for collaboration on the ethical basis for protecting the planet. The relations between humans and other elements of the natural world are not compartmentalised she said.
Ann Davison, NCW President attended and supported visible environmental action from faith leaders to counter current voices of selfishness. She mentioned NCW cooperation with other women’s organisations on our online climate change seminar – taking place at lunchtime on 18th November and our work on the environment with International Council of Women.
