Louise Baxter MBE will speak from the point of view of consumers. Chair of the NICO Consumer Protection Advisory Panel (CPAP), she will introduce the work of the National Independent Consumer Organisation (NICO) and the CPAP – a national voice dedicated to ensuring that consumers across the UK are treated fairly, safely, and sustainably.
Louise will outline how NICO (an NCW Associate) and its Advisory Panels are working to strengthen consumer protection, promote inclusive access to green and affordable products, and prepare for the first Consumer Congress, bringing together government, business, and consumer leaders to shape a fairer, more resilient future for all.
