Speaking with Jess Phillips MP who covers safeguarding and violence against women and girls for the government, on Thursday, National Council of Women representatives discussed protection from online harms. The event was organised by Centenary Action and chaired by Jo Gibbons.

Gail Bishop, vice President suggested universities to provide more bystander training. Ann Davison, President, welcomed implementation of the online safety act but pressed the extent of the challenge to health, relationships and to children. NCWGB is campaigning strongly internationally on the issue, including sharing information on the Online Safety Act.

Jess Phillips shared a really helpful update on the Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy.
