National Council of Women GB is delighted to announce that Professor Shweta Singh has joined our management committee.
Shweta leads our online safety work and chairs the study group. We so admire her dynamism and expertise.
Her study group is preparing now for the International Council of Women annual conference which NCWGB will host in London in November. On 2nd November we will devote a session of break out groups to online safety – to gain the perspective from different countries and plan further safeguards.
Shweta is also working on an event in Parliament on ‘safety by design or harm by design’ looking at the case for upstream regulation of the tech sector.
