NCW’s study group on Women’s Health Inequalities met last week to discuss practical ways to address the widespread inequalities in women’s access to adequate health care.
Members shared their experiences and identified practical initiatives to support awareness, education and system change in women’s health. We explored practical solutions such as creating guidance resources, developing educational materials, and collecting personal stories through short video clips.
NCW has long campaigned for improvements to women’s health and we’re delighted that our group is chaired by Dr Maria Karvela of Imperial College London. The photo shows some of our key members, many others were unable to join for the photo.
