At the third meeting of this important group, NCW members reviewed the roadmap which brought together the various workstreams. The group are busy preparing practical resources, position papers, and briefing notes on inequalities in treatment, intersectional inequalities, access to services, and women’s voices and experiences.
The group’s chair, Maria Karvela of Imperial College, London, urged group members to be radical and to produce resources for women, policy makers, and clinicians.
Among other strands of work, Dr Hannah Nazri, speciality registrar in obstetrics and gynaecology, will highlight red flags in women’s health, and Charity Mafuba, an international lawyer will work particularly on intersectional inequalities.
