Why should my organisation become an Associate member of the NCWGB?
We have close relationships with a number of organisations that hold Associate membership of NCWGB.
Associate membership is open to charities, businesses and other organisations who share the values of NCWGB.
Become an Associate and demonstrate your commitment to achieving a fair and inclusive society for all.
Charities and other organisations can
- Propose national resolutions for consideration by NCWGB members
- Work with us on projects and joint events such as out online debate series
- Contribute to NCWGB’s representations at international level through our status with the UN and our attendance at international events
- Vote at NCWGB’s AGM and on our resolutions to send to Parliament
- Receive all NCWGB member literature and communications
- Cross promote your activities to our members
- Send up to two members to NCWGB events at the same rate as full members (when applicable)
- Offer discounted individual full membership to your employees and staff
Business Associates can
- Demonstrate that they share NCWGB values and commitment to empowering women
- Work with us on projects and events as appropriate
- Actively support and promote the equality of women and aims of key NCW resolutions
- Support one or all of the NCWGB’s Resolutions and Campaigns.
- Nominate a linkperson who receives all NCWGB member literature and communications
NOTE: NCWGB does not endorse or promote any particular business. Becoming a Business Associate does not represent NCWGB’s recommendation of their services and/or products. Any reference to NCWGB in a business’s publicity, or use of the NCWGB logo, must be agreed in advance.
Publicise the work of your organisation
- Associates can send stories about their own campaigns to display in our website newsfeed (these will be moderated by NCWGB before publishing)
- NCWGB will at its discretion cross promote Associates’ events and/or campaigns to our members and on our social media.
Join the NCW and add your voice to ours to strengthen your campaigns.
How much does it cost to become an Associate Member?
- Associate Organisation Membership is free for charities with similar aims to NCWGB who agree to cross promote us on their social media channels.
- Other organisations, including businesses, pay according to their gross annual income.
- Individual Associates pay a fixed reduced fee of £25 (they must be a member or employee of the associate organisation).
The Membership year runs from 1st June to 31st May.
