National Council of Women is delighted to welcome Professor Husna Ahmad OBE to its Management Council. Husna is a member of our international steering group and represented NCW at the Commission on the Status of Women.
Husna is an international speaker, author and thought leader, focusing particularly on faith, gender, environment and peacebuilding.
Husna is the CEO of Global One 2015 and the Secretary General of the World Muslim Leadership Forum She is a UN adviser as a member of the multi faith advisory council on religion and development so brings a wealth of experience to NCWGB.
Husna said, “I am delighted to be part of this dynamic Management Council and very excited about working on a range of impactful projects under the leadership of our President Ann Davison. I believe as women we have a vital role to build a more inclusive and compassionate Britain.”
