National Council of Women new President Ann Davison paid tribute to outgoing President Jilly Rogers at our Autumn meeting last week. Ann particularly praised the programme of seminars highlighting the influence we had on online harms and implementation of the Online Safety Act.
NCWGB was putting a priority on partnerships and fourteen organisations had signed our letter to government on online harms.
Representatives from the British Federation of Women Graduates, the Soroptimists, the U.K. Commission on the Status of Women Alliance and White Ribbon were all welcomed at the Autumn meeting.
Ann stressed the need to work together. NCW’s November seminar will be with Business and Professional Women and December with White Ribbon.
Jilly has presided over an influx of new members and Ann thanked all members attending for their interest and support. Our members are at the heart of all we do.
