The National Council of Women in conference assembled, calls upon Her Majesty’s Government to take positive measures to reduce the incidence of both late and teenage abortions by the promotion of family planning education services and easy access to abortion counseling and services nationwide in the first three months of pregnancy.  

Affiliated Societies dissociated from this Resolution: Family & Youth Concern; Catholic Women’s League; Union of Catholic Mothers; and National Board of Catholic Women.  Reaffirmed 1999
