The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, concerned at the increased number of amusement arcades with increasingly sophisticated machines, urges the Home Secretary to: (a) amend the 1968 Gaming Act to restrict amusement gaming machines to premises used by adults only; (b) give local planning authorities greater control of the number and situation of amusement arcades in their area.
