The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, appreciative of the advances made in the control of dark smoke emission since the Clean Air Act, now urges Her Majesty’s Government to tighten the control of other air pollutants, particularly those emissions in the categories covered by the Alkali Inspectorate.   Held in abeyance as from the Annual General Meeting in 1988
