The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, urges Her Majesty’s Government to reject proposals for the abolition of the Common Law Criminal Offence of Blasphemy and to take steps to secure by legislation that the protection against Blasphemy at present provided by the Common Law should be extended to recognized religions.
