Clarification of the law on sterilisation and contraception, 1967

The National Council of Women of Great Britain in Conference assembled urges Her Majesty’s Government to clarify the legal position in respect of:

(a) sterilisation of men and women,

(b) the provision of certain forms of contraception by the medical profession, and whether either of these procedures may be undertaken without the knowledge or against the wishes of the other spouse
