The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, urges the Minister of Transport and Local Authorities, to do everything possible to reduce road traffic and aircraft noises and the ever-increasing level of community noise. The Council further urges Her Majesty’s Government to encourage more research into the effects of noise on the health of the general public.
