Discrimination against women, 1968

The National Council of Women of in Conference assembled, urges HM Government to give positive practical support to the Human Rights Year campaign to end discrimination against women in the United Kingdom, by rectifying before the end of Human Rights Year 1968, I.L.O. Conventions No 100, Equal Remuneration, and No. 111, Discrimination in Employment and Occupation, and taking the necessary steps, by legislation or otherwise, to ensure the implementation of these Conventions.
