The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, calls upon Her Majesty’s Government to require that all new building projects and redevelopments  – domestic, institutional, commercial, industrial, horticultural and agricultural, including Crown sites – should initially incorporate plans for the installation of the most energy efficient and pollution free space and water heating schemes including piped hot water distribution networks in order to conserve energy and minimize atmospheric pollution.
