NCW in Conference assembled, calls on HMG to improve facilities for the care of the mentally ill by: (a) providing more funding for psychiatric nurses and other support workers in the community; and (b) ensuring that there are enough hospital beds with adequate staffing for the acutely ill who are a danger to themselves or others.
