The National Council of Women of Great Britain in Conference assembled urges Her Majesty’s Government to introduce and put into effect such legislation as will prevent the public expression of views calculated to arouse hatred against specific racial or religious groups within the community. The National Council of Women is convinced that such doctrines of racial intolerance are not only inconsistent with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights but are capable of perverting the minds of young people and or providing an outlet in some cases for aggressive tendencies.
