The National Council of Women of Great Britain in Conference assembled, concerned by the growing danger to public health caused by the increasingly insanitary condition of roadside verges and lay-bys, urges Her Majesty’s Government to make it compulsory for an authority constructing new roads or modernising old roads to make adequate provision for servicing areas and lavatory accommodation.
