The National Council of Women of Great Britain in Conference assembled, convinced of the value of Nursery education and the need of further provision for the under 5’s, urges the Secretary of State for Education and Science to encourage the steady increase of Nursery education in all areas, so that there is a strong framework of maintained provisions, which will be able to act as a support to many voluntary enterprises including the Pre- School Playgroups Association.
