Patterns for Peacekeeping, 1968

The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, aware of the large number of areas in dispute throughout the world and concerned that such potential flash-points may produce worldwide conflagrations, calls upon Her Majesty’s Government to support in the United Nations and throughout the Commonwealth, any measures to strengthen international law and order, and to this end urges Her Majesty’s Government to propose the establishment of a small, directly recruited, permanent  United Nations international peacekeeping force.
