The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, appreciating the work done by Her Majesty’s Government to secure the acceptance of the original Treaty on the non-proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, and mindful of the threat to world peace implied by the growing availability of nuclear power, calls on Her Majesty’s Government to continue its efforts to prevent the wider dissemination of nuclear weapons.
