The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, believing that producers should bear the risk of and be strictly liable for injury caused by defects in their products irrespective of fault, urges Her Majesty’s Government to oppose the inclusion of a development risk defence in the proposed EEC Produce Liability Directive.
