The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, in view of the current surplus food production, and the known dangers in agricultural chemicals to workers, wildlife, consumers and the environment, urges Her Majesty’s Government to promote research into alternative sustainable organic methods of agriculture, with a view to providing an effective, advisory service with incentives to farmers to convert to such systems.
