The National Council of Women in Conference appreciates the improved approach to the mentally sick but regrets the situation created by their return to society while still unadapted to ordinary living. Suitable places in which to accommodate these people for a necessary interim period are urgently required, and the Council urges local government authorities to expedite more provision for such accommodation.
