Racial Discrimination, 1958

The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, being convinced that racial discrimination is contrary to the fundamental principles of freedom for which this country stands, calls upon all women to foster a spirit of tolerance and understanding between different sections of the community, and urges HM Government to use all appropriate measures to deal with the causes of misunderstanding and to prevent outbreaks of racial conflict.
