The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, asks Her Majesty’s Government to urge Local Education Authorities to ensure that where schools and colleges under their control, are closed, outdoor recreational facilities which were formerly available to a local community through such schools or colleges should be retained for the benefit of that community unless other adequate neighborhood facilities already exist.
