The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, having regard to the proposals in the Government White Paper on National superannuation and Social Insurance 1969, that women should pay contributions and receive benefits on the same basis as men, but continue to have a different age at which they are eligible for retirement pension, calls on HM Government to institute an enquiry into problems of retirement, including the question of retirement age.
