The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, aware of the desperate need for low-priced houses, urges the Secretary of State for Housing to consider the advisability of building, within an affordable price, structurally sound basic Shell Houses, covered by the National House Building Council’s 10-year Guarantee, with essential wiring and plumbing which the purchaser could finish at will.
