The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, calls upon Her Majesty’s Government to urge the Monopolies and Mergers Commission and the Office of Fair Trading to look carefully into the possibility of streamlining the whole procedure of purchasing a house, with the object of reducing the present high cost and protracted delays which hamper mobility.
