The National Council of Women of Great Britain in a Conference assembled, being of the opinion that there is inadequate appreciation of the economic contribution of housewives to the national economy, urges Her Majesty’s Government to promote studies necessary for the assessment of the value of household activities, with a view to its inclusion in the assessment of the Gross National Product.
