The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, noting the decision of the Secretary of State for Energy to initiate feasibility studies into Combined Heat and Power/District Heating in the United Kingdom, calls upon Her  Majesty’s Government as a matter of urgency to implement those sections of the Marshall report (Energy Paper No 35) which will lead to early provision of CHP/DH to the Domestic and Commercial Users in cities, towns and new town developments throughout the United Kingdom.
