Water conservation, 1967

The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, aware of the rapidly increasing demand for water resulting from the steady growth in population, the demands of industry and the increasing use of domestic water-consuming appliances, urges HM Government to facilitate the use of existing equipment and to encourage as vigorously as possible the design of future appliances to ensure the maximum economy in the use of water.
