The National Council of Women in Conference assembled, deplores the failure of HM Government to include an adequate proportion of women in their selection of members of Government-sponsored Committees and Royal Commissions and urges HM Government to appoint persons from the widest possible field of choice and whose special knowledge and experience qualify them for membership of such bodies.
