Monday 26 January 12:30 -14:00 hours

The National Independent Consumer Organisation (NICO) and the National Council of Women GB NCWGB) hosted a short online seminar on 26 January.

We heard directly from consumers about how we can shape future campaigns and drive change that genuinely works for people. NICO is working to fix real problems.

We talked about everyday consumer issues and sustainability, what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to change.

Before joining, we asked these four questions:

  1. What gets in the way of making greener choices in your daily life?
  2. Where do you feel sustainability is costing you more than it should?
  3. What support or protections would make things fairer for consumers?
  4. What is the role of guidance on eco-friendly claims?

Your experiences and ideas helped us understand what matters most and where action is needed next.

We were so pleased to see you, your voice really does shape the change.
