We were thrilled to see what one of our NCYW groups got up to on March 8, 2023

We received a message from The Royal Masonic School for Girls in Hertfordshire, NCYW members, telling us how they had celebrated International Women’s Day this year. Kristy and Avanya two of the school’s NCYW leaders, organised a really interesting week of events for their students to mark this significant day.

They started the week with a whole school assembly explaining the significance of the day and the theme which was #Embrace Equity. They also put up displays and ran competitions during the week and had a book stand where books, films and podcasts could be recommended with the intention of Inspiring, Educating and Influencing.

Thank you to Kristy and Avanya for your hard work and for sharing their International Women’s Day experience with us at NCW. We hope it inspires other young women to get involved. Find out more about NCYW today.
